একটি ওয়েব সাইট পরস্পর মস্পর্কিত কতগুলো ওয়েব পেইজের সমন্বয়ে গঠিত। ব্রাউজারের মাধ্যমে কোন প্রতিষ্ঠানের বা কোন ব্যক্তির ওয়েব সাইট ওপেন করলে যেই পেইজটি প্রথমে প্রদর্শিত হয় সেটি হলো ঐ ওয়েব সাইটটির হোম পেইজ। এই হোম পেইজ থেকে বিভিন্ন লিংক এর মাধ্যমে ঐ ওয়েব সাইটের বিভিন্ন পেইজে যাওয়া যায়।

google এর ওয়েব সাইট www.google.com ব্রাউজারের মাধ্যমে ওপেন করলে প্রথমে যেই পেইজটি পোদর্শিক হবে সেটি হলো google. এর হোম (Home) পেইজ।
